Finding the Silver Lining in this Global Pandemic

It's quite laughable that a noticeably obvious Silver Lining in this Global Pandemic reaching SA is that it seems to have sorted out Eskoms power struggle or struggle for power. The topic of Loading Shedding doesn't even make good enough conversation any longer. If it does come up it is quickly out shined by the more relevant topic of social distancing.

This unprecedented experience that is touching all human beings throughout the planet is bringing humanity together again. Human being are being human again and most will say that it's way overdue. May be it's just the right time. The lesson is most certainly going to be a tough and painful one but it sure is going to change the world as we know it. For us in SA it may still be early days to realize the light at the end of this tunnel.

Just consider the grip that this virus has on other countries. According to the authorities it's only a matter of time before we find ourselves in the same predicament if we do not act decisively. Hense, the national lock down.

Apart from prayer we have no option but to stand in unity in a common consciousness. Never in the history of humanity has this been sort or achieved. A truly mind boggling reality is coming to pass in our lifetime. We are the world, we are the children and together and only together can we overcome this. Was this ever even thought possible? Well here we go! We are doing this.... Together!

What are the Silver linings that you see in all this? Please share your thoughts with us.
