Driver's License: Your Drivers License never expires, only your card does.

Countless drivers are risking their lives and the lives of others as they que at licensing offices around the country to renew their Driver's License cards not knowing that there isn't a law against holding an expired driver's License card.

Considering that we are experiencing a global pandemic and now already in the midst of a second wave that's taking lives daily in the numbers should the authorities, in the interest of public health and safety, not have made this common knowledge just as it was so considerate to grant and publish a renewal extension? Is this another case of money before the people?
